Two killed, three children among injured in Russian drone strike on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia

Two people were killed and seven others injured, including three children, following a Russian drone strike on the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on the evening of February 3, local authorities reported.
Law enforcement officials said an enemy drone exploded near a shopping center where civilians were present at the time of the attack. The blast killed two young people born in 2007.
Among the injured are three minors - two boys born in 2013 and 2014 and a girl born in 2009. The total number of wounded stands at seven.
Ukraine’s National Police said buildings in the area sustained damage as a result of the explosion.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, stated that an air raid alert in the city had been ongoing for 23 consecutive hours.
