Georgia’s Foreign Ministry has announced plans to relocate the Information Center on NATO and the European Union to its central headquarters, citing an ongoing internal reorganization.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the foreign office claimed the move was part of structural reforms aimed at consolidating outreach and policy coordination.

"Within the framework of the ongoing reorganization, the Information Center on NATO and the European Union will be transferred to the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," the Ministry pledged.

The statement came came following a social media post in which the centre’s employee claimed he had received an official notification about ending his contract from July 1 due to the “closure” of the information centre.
