Georgia reach Rugby Europe Championship final after defeating Romania

The national rugby team of Georgia has reached the final of the Rugby Europe Championship after defeating Romania 53–30 in the semi-final.

The match was held at Avchala Stadium in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, where the Georgian side secured a convincing victory and booked their place in the final scheduled for 15 March.

With the win, Georgia also claimed the Antim Cup for the 20th time. The trophy has been contested between the Georgian and Romanian national teams since 2002.

The Rugby Europe Championship final will take place on 15 March at Estadio Municipal de Butarque in Leganés, where Georgia will face the winner of the semi-final between Spain and Portugal.
