Tamar Zodelava appointed Chair of Georgia’s State Grant Management Agency

Tamar Zodelava has been appointed the Chairperson of the newly established State Grant Management Agency of Georgia, following an order issued by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
Zodelava brings extensive experience in managing complex international projects, having worked in a number of high-profile roles over the past two decades, the Government Administration press office said.
Since 2003, she has been involved with the German International Cooperation Team, contributing to various initiatives and holding multiple positions. In addition, she has served as a project advisor to the Council of Europe and worked as a project manager for the Eastern Partnership Regional Fund for Public Administration Reform, the press office added.
Zodelava holds a law degree from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and a master’s degree in German-language private international law. Her academic background also includes studies at the University of Bremen in international economic law, as well as training at the University of Public Administration in Speyer, Germany.
