Salome Samadashvili, one of the leaders of the Strong Georgia coalition, stated that their objective is not merely to participate in the upcoming local elections, but to bring an end to the current regime.

“This regime is concerned with only one thing today – to destroy everyone it can, as quickly as possible,” Samadashvili said. “What can society do in response? The only answer is true and broad unity. Without unity, it will be very difficult for Georgia to win this battle.”

She emphasized that participating in local elections cannot be the primary goal for anyone under the current circumstances.

“When we think about our strategy and action plan, including in relation to the local elections, we view everything through the lens of this primary mission – stopping and defeating the regime,” she added.

According to Samadashvili, the focus must remain on the broader political struggle, not the technicalities of electoral participation.
