Ex-Pres Zourabichvili expresses support to President Zelenskyy, Ukrainian people

Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zourabichvili, on Saturday expressed solidarity with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the people of Ukraine, stating that Georgia stands by Ukraine “at this critical moment”.

In a public message addressed to Zelenskyy and Ukrainians, Zourabichvili highlighted support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and future.

“Mr. President, Volodymyr Zelensky, dear friend, dear Ukrainian friends, I and your Georgian friends stand with you at this vital moment [and] wishing you strength and a future of peace in dignity, in the respect of your country’s independence,” Zourabichvili wrote.
