Georgia's Patrol Police have detained three foreign nationals on charges of attempting to illegally cross the state border, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said on Saturday.
The body added officers from the Patrol Police Department's Main Division for Border Management and Coordination arrested two citizens of Kuwait and one citizen of Iran at different times at Tbilisi International Airport as they allegedly attempted to cross Georgia's state border illegally.
The crime is punishable by up to five years in prison.
