OSCE Secretary General Sinirlioğlu commences official visit to Georgia

Feridun Sinirlioğlu, the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), has arrived in Georgia for a three-day official visit, scheduled between Tuesday and Thursday.

The visit was announced by Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During his stay, Sinirlioğlu is set to engage in meetings with senior officials from both the executive and legislative branches of the Georgian government. These discussions are expected to focus on regional security, democratic development, and ongoing cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE.​

Appointed in December 2024, Sinirlioğlu is the first Turkish diplomat to lead the OSCE in its 50-year history.
