Georgian police have arrested three Iranian nationals at Tbilisi International Airport on suspicion of attempting to cross the country's state border using forged documents, the Interior Ministry said on Thursday.
Officers from the Patrol Police Department's Main Division for Border Management and Coordination detained the suspects as they allegedly attempted to leave Georgia using counterfeit travel documents.
If convicted, the suspects face up to five years in prison, according to the Interior Ministry.
