The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia on Sunday reported 60 participants in ongoing protests were detained over the past three days.

The body added patrol officers repeatedly urged demonstrators to avoid illegal actions. Authorities noted that the protesters did not have the legal right to block roads due to their numbers. Despite these warnings, demonstrators continued to obstruct traffic, disrupting the flow of vehicles, the Ministry said.

“The Ministry once again urges participants to refrain from unlawful actions. Failure to comply will result in measures provided for by law,” the statement added.
