A 23-year-old Indian student who had been reported missing in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi has been found dead.

The body of the student, identified as Dhvanit Rajdeep, was discovered in the Mtkvari River.

An investigation has been launched under Article 115 of Georgia’s Criminal Code, which concerns incitement to suicide.

Information about the student’s disappearance was initially reported by Indian media outlets.
