Georgian Parliamentary Deputy Speaker meets Chilean Ambassador to discuss strengthening ties

Ambassador Ruiz Ortiz reaffirmed that Chile would continue to back Georgia’s territorial integrity in international forums

Georgia’s Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thea Tsulukiani, has met with Chile’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, Eliseo Rodrigo Ruiz Ortiz, who is based in Warsaw.
According to the Georgian Parliament’s press office, Tsulukiani thanked Chile for its “consistent support” of Georgia’s territorial integrity, including its votes in favour of United Nations resolutions condemning Russia’s occupation of Georgian territories.
Ambassador Ruiz Ortiz reaffirmed that Chile would continue to back Georgia’s territorial integrity in international forums.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the need to further deepen bilateral relations, including through enhanced contacts between parliamentary friendship groups.
The ambassador noted that this was his third visit to Georgia, said he was familiar with its regions and culture, and expressed readiness to contribute actively to the development of bilateral relations.
