Authorities in Tbilisi are continuing the search for two missing children who disappeared after leaving school on Monday.

According to family members, the children – both pupils at Public School No. 31 in the Georgian capital – were last seen shortly after 2 p.m. They reportedly left the school grounds but never returned home.

Relatives identified one of the missing children as Barbara Lapachi, a sixth-grade student. A family member shared a message on social media urging the public to assist in the search.

The second child, identified only as Tekla, was also reported missing by relatives, who issued a similar appeal online – “Tekla is missing. If you see her anywhere, please write to me.”
