Three opposition parties, Droa, Strategy Agmashenebeli and Girchi – More Freedom on  Monday announced the launch of a “liberation movement” to remove the current Georgian Dream government, along with the representatives of various fields.

The parties said a “symbolic demonstration” would be held on February 24, on the day Russia invaded Ukraine last year.

“Today, we announce that we are starting a national liberation movement. It will end with the de-occupation of Georgia, our country will be freed from collaborationism, the seized government will return to the people, we stand together, we will fight together, we will fight until the end. Our actions will be a demonstration of the unity of the Georgian people”, Akia Barbakadze from the movement said.
