United National Movement Chair Tina Bokuchava on Monday called on opposition forces to focus on addressing public concerns, securing the release of political prisoners and finding common ground to tackle the country's major challenges.
"The main thing is that we take care of people's problems, free political prisoners, save our country and give our children a better future. We need to concentrate on these major issues and use every opportunity to find common ground in overcoming these challenges," she said.
Commenting on former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, Bokuchava claimed he and the ruling Georgian Dream Government "are two sides of the same coin" and serve each other's interests.
She also argued that anyone accused of committing violence in Parliament should be held accountable, saying equal standards of justice should apply in such cases.
