Trump links protests in France to mass migration

US President Donald Trump has linked protests taking place across France to the consequences of “uncontrolled mass migration”.

“What is happening in France is the result of uncontrolled mass migration. It’s not about the schools, it’s about Islam wanting to conquer what was once a great country,” Trump wrote.

Large demonstrations are being held across France over demands for reforms in schools, with protests reported in Paris, Marseille, Nice, Nantes, Lyon and other cities.
