A Georgian citizen, identified as M.F., born in 1993, has been arrested on charges of human trafficking following a joint operation by the Anti-Trafficking and Illegal Migration Division of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced on Thursday.

The arrest was the result of a comprehensive investigation, which included undercover operations authorized by a judge, the body said.

Authorities alleged that M.F. exploited a woman, L.K., born in 1963, by using psychological violence and threats to force her into sexual activities with multiple individuals for financial gain.

The investigation further revealed that the suspect allegedly appropriated a portion of the money obtained through this exploitation.
