US President Donald Trump and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer held a phone call to discuss a range of pressing global issues, including the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, according to a statement released by the White House.

“Today, President Donald J. Trump held a call with Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom. The two leaders discussed bilateral trade, ongoing talks to bring the conflict in Ukraine to a peaceful resolution, and regional security in the Middle East,” the statement reads.

President Trump also expressed his anticipation for an upcoming State Visit to the United Kingdom later this year, where he will meet with His Majesty King Charles III.
