TV Pirveli’s cameraman, Lasha Jioshvili, has been issued an administrative offense report by Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs over a Facebook post in which he allegedly criticized law enforcement.

According to a police officer featured in a video circulating online, Jioshvili is accused of verbally insulting law enforcement officers in a video posted on April 6 and showing disrespect toward the ministry in the accompanying caption.

Reacting to the charge, Jioshvili said, “The people who are supposed to fight crime are sitting around monitoring my Facebook statuses. It makes me laugh—really. You’re very amusing. If you think this will somehow work in your favor, I’m telling you—it’s only making things worse.”
