Two earthquakes were recorded in a few minutes near the village of Sameba

Two earthquakes were observed a few minutes apart in Georgia. According to the National Center for Seismic Monitoring, in both cases the epicenter was near the village of Sameba, 24 kilometers away from Ninotsminda. 

 

The magnitude recorded at 05:44 was 5.1, and at 05:51 it was 3.2. A few hours ago, two more earthquakes occurred in Georgia, the epicenter of which was also near the village of Sameba. The magnitude of the tremors recorded at 23:42 was 3.7, and at 03:19 it was 4.1. 

 

There have been more than 30 earthquakes near the village of Sameba in the last two months.
