The Tbilisi City Hall on Sunday said cleanup of internal roads across the capital was ongoing. Streets, pedestrian crossings, and bus stops have been cleared, with employees of Tbilservice Group working around the clock using specialized equipment.

The city reported that heavy precipitation caused localized problems. In Nadzaladevi, near Guramishvili #3, and in the Lotkini settlement at Guram Asatiani N26, retaining walls collapsed.

Landslides were also recorded at several addresses in Vake, Saburtalo, as well as in Gldani and Isani.

Additionally, a wall of a dilapidated building in Isani collapsed, no residents were inside, and nearby residents refused temporary hotel relocation. A walkway also collapsed at a separate Isani location. Restoration works are planned to begin shortly.

The municipal authorities have arranged temporary accommodation for affected families. Emergency coordination teams and relevant municipal departments were present on-site. Affected areas have been cleared, temporarily fenced, and full restoration will commence soon.

Tbilisi’s EcoService Group and contractor companies continue 24-hour operations to process and remove damaged trees at various locations.

Residents are reminded that any problems can be reported via Tbilisi City Hall’s hotline at 032 2722222.
