The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated figures on Russia’s combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

The General Staff said on Wednesday, from the beginning of the war until today, Russia has lost approximately 1,243,070 military personnel in Ukraine, including killed and wounded (+780 over the past day).

Estimated total combat losses of Russian forces in Ukraine from February 25, 2022, to February 4, 2026, were as follows:

  • Tanks: 11,637 (+4)

  • Armored combat vehicles: 23,992 (+7)

  • Artillery systems: 36,915 (+60)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,634 (+1)

  • Air defense systems: 1,293 (+1)

  • Aircraft: 435 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Operational-tactical UAVs (drones): 123,743 (+1,355)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,205 (+0)

  • Light fast boats / ships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 2 (+0)

  • Motor vehicles and fuel tankers: 76,949 (+211)

  • Special equipment: 4,062 (+4)
