The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russia’s battlefield losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

From 25 February 2022 to 20 February 2026, Russia has lost approximately 1,257,880 troops in Ukraine, including those killed and wounded. Over the past 24 hours alone, reported personnel losses increased by 970, Kyiv claimed.

The reported cumulative combat losses of Russian forces during the period include:

  • Tanks: 11,684 (+2)

  • Armoured combat vehicles: 24,060 (+6)

  • Artillery systems: 37,387 (+3)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,649 (+0)

  • Air defence systems: 1,303 (+1)

  • Aircraft: 435 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Operational-tactical UAVs: 138,881 (+551)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,314 (+0)

  • Fast attack craft/boats: 29 (+0)

  • Submarines: 2 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 79,112 (+76)

  • Special equipment: 4,073 (+1)
