The United National Movement (UNM) opposition party is holding a meeting in its headquarters now to discuss future plans and a strategy.

The party members say that the topic of snap parliamentary elections remains on the agenda.

However, Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili stated earlier today that no elections will take place until the one scheduled in 2024.

He also said that the political situation has been ‘largely stabilized’ in the country.

The UNM member Giorgi Botkoveli also stated that imprisoned former president Mikheil Saakashvili has already completed work on Georgia’s economic development plan “which he will present himself in the coming days”.
