US to send soldiers, fighter jets to Baltics

The US has decided to send 800 infantry soldiers to the Baltic region and up to eight F-35 fighter jets to several operating locations along NATO’s eastern flank, Reuters has cited an US official as saying. 

The US will also send 32 AH-64 Apache attack helicopters to the Baltic region and to Poland from locations within Europe.

Biden has already put sanctions on Russian banks and elites, stating that they also share responsibility for the country’s aggression against Ukraine.
