Russia is ready to resume trilateral negotiations with Ukraine and the United States after November 4, but expectations for this meeting should not be high, – Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov stated.
"The meeting between Russia, the US, and Ukraine planned for the near future will be preliminary. There should not be high expectations from it," Ushakov said.
According to him, "the parties still have to make efforts to achieve a peace agreement regarding Ukraine."
At the same time, he added that resolving the war in Ukraine also needs to be discussed with Europe, as its position could be key.
He noted that "the US has so far failed to exert pressure on Kyiv and force it to establish peace."
"Previously, after Anchorage, it seemed that the American administration could impose something like that and force Kyiv to comply. But so far, this somehow didn't work out, because it is not enough to talk only with Kyiv; it is necessary to talk to the whole of Europe, which fully supports Kyiv," Ushakov said.
