Georgian PM meets Hungarian counterpart in Budapest, receives condolences over Ilia II’s death

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday received condolences over the death of Patriarch Ilia II from his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orbán during a meeting in Budapest.
The Georgian Government Administration said Orbán thanked Kobakhidze for visiting Hungary during “this difficult time”.
During the meeting, Kobakhidze once again underlined the Patriarch’s epochal role in the history of the country and the Georgian nation.
The Georgian Prime Minister is also set to participate in the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Hungary later today. His address at the conference will be dedicated to the memory of Ilia II.
