Vox lounge bar in Batumi residential blocks fully burnt after fire

A Vox lounge bar located on the top floor of residential blocks in Batumi, has been fully burnt after a fire that broke out late on Sunday. 

The incident in the country’s western, coastal city, saw no casualties, as individuals had been shortly evaluated from the building on Agmashenebeli Avenue. 

The restaurant has been closed recently, according to media reports, while the residential complex houses more than 280 people. 

There was a risk of the fire spreading to the flats in the building. However, it was extinguished early on Monday.
