The Armenian government has confirmed that a high-level trilateral meeting involving US President Donald Trump, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will take place in Washington this week.

The Armenian government said Pashinyan will visit the United States on 7-8 August. During the visit, he is expected to meet President Trump to discuss ways of deepening Armenia’s strategic partnership with the United States.

The government also confirmed plans for a trilateral summit involving the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, aimed at promoting peace, stability, and economic cooperation in the South Caucasus.
