Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Kyiv is actively working with international partners to boost the country’s defense capacity amid ongoing Russian aggression.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian military officials continue to provide updates from the front lines, and the government remains focused on increasing the supply of weapons, scaling up domestic production, and improving army support.

He stated that several positive agreements have already been reached with international allies, and new ones are expected soon. A key priority, he emphasized, is the swift implementation of these deals to reinforce Ukraine’s capabilities — including enhanced air defense systems.

Zelenskyy also highlighted strong political backing from the United States and European partners, describing the signals received as encouraging. He noted that cooperation will continue in the coming week, including discussions with U.S. military officials, particularly General Keith Kellogg.

Additionally, new defense packages from EU countries are being prepared, and further sanctions against Russia are expected in the near future.

“Pressure must work,” Zelenskyy said, underscoring the need for consistent international action.
