Zelenskyy: Ukraine has adjusted long-range operations against Russia,approved new strikes

Ukraine has adjusted some of its long-range operations against Russia and approved new strikes on targets inside Russian territory, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy discussed the implementation of Ukraine's long-range operations plan against Russia during a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi, Chief of the General Staff Ihor Skibiuk and Defence Minister Yevhen Khmara.

"We discussed in detail the implementation of the long-term sanctions plan against Russia, as well as our long-range strikes. Some operations have been adjusted and new ones have been approved," Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, Ukraine's long-range strike capabilities remain one of the most important tools in its confrontation with Russia.

Zelenskyy stressed that the precision of such operations allows Ukraine to maintain the initiative on the battlefield and creates conditions for potential progress toward diplomatic solutions.

The Ukrainian president also thanked the service members involved in supporting long-range operations.

The meeting also covered the situation along the front line and personnel proposals.

"Certain decisions have already been prepared, and more will follow," Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy also stressed that strengthening air defence should remain a priority for countries capable of providing assistance to Ukraine.
