Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited leaders of friendly nations to Kyiv amid hostilities in the country and threats that Russian troops will hit the capital city.

He has stated that the PMs of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia have already arrived in the country to show their solidarity with Ukraine amid Russian invasion.

“This is important support. While Kyiv is a target of the occupiers, coming here means a lot of support,” Zelensky said, encouraging others to do the same.

He once again called on Russian citizens to stand against their authorities, stating that the war for Russia will end in ‘shame and poverty.’
