Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked the Russians, especially the editor in a Russian Channel One, who protested the Russian aggression in Ukraine during a live of an evening news show.

“ I am thankful to Russians who do not stop telling the truth. You (Russians) must fight to prevent the transformation of your country into larger North Korea,” Zelensky said.

He also appealed to Russian soldiers not to fight in Ukraine ‘as you will find only death here,” calling on them to concede and “you will be treated here like humans, not in the way you are being treated in your homeland.”

Marina Ovsyannikova, an editor at the Russian government – controlled Channel One, who burst onto the set of the live broadcast of news late yesterday with a banner in support of Ukraine and shouting: “Stop the war. No to war,” has been arrested, Guardian reports.
