Ukrainian  President Volodymyr Zelensky says that his country is left alone to fight with Russia after the US and other world leaders announced a new package of sanctions against Russia late yesterday which came without those Ukraine demanded, including removing Russia from SWIFT.

Zelensky said that he and his family are now a major target for the enemy which is about to invade Kyiv.

He also stated that the west is afraid to ensure Ukraine’s NATO membership.

“We have been left alone to defend our state,” Zelensky said in a video address, stating that he and his family remain in Ukraine despite growing fears.

The sanctions imposed by top foreign states against Russia target largest banks, wealthy Russian people, access to technologies and others.

However, Kyiv says that they are not sufficient to stop Russia.
