Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday arrived in Bucha together with the leaders of Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia and Moldova to pay tribute to the memory of those who died during the Russian occupation.

The leaders came to the church named after the Holy Apostle Andrew the First, where they found the mass graves of the murdered residents of Bucha.

“33 days of occupation. More than 1,400 dead, 37 of them children. More than 175 people were found in mass graves and torture chambers. 9,000 Russian war crimes. A Ukrainian city is free again, a symbol of the brutality of the army of the occupying country. We will never forgive them, all criminals will be punished,” Zelenskyy wrote on his social media account.
