As of today, the low-cost carrier Wizz Air operates from Georgia to 23 destinations, with approximately 72 weekly frequencies

The Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia granted Wizz Air an operating permit on October 7 to commence regular flights on a new route connecting Georgia with Venice, Italy.

The airline’s application submitted to the Agency said Wizz Air will begin operations on the Venice-Kutaisi-Venice route starting December 2, 2025, as part of the upcoming winter navigation season. Flights will be operated twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

As of today, the low-cost carrier Wizz Air operates from Georgia to 23 destinations, with approximately 72 weekly frequencies. During the first nine months of 2025, the airline transported 1,075,585 passengers, maintaining its position as the market leader in Georgia’s aviation sector.
