Chiatura Mayor meets Chinese Ambassador to discuss strategic cooperation

The Mayor of Chiatura Municipality, Givi Modebadze, met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Georgia, Zhou Qian, during an official visit to the municipality.
The meeting, held at the Chiatura City Hall, focused on ongoing and planned development projects in the region. Mayor Modebadze briefed the ambassador on key municipal initiatives and emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and China, expressing hope for further cooperation across various sectors.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Municipal Council Aleksandre Tsitskishvili, First Deputy Mayor Davit Tsereteli, Deputy Mayor Davit Bitsadze, and Deputy Chairman of the Council Davit Labadze.
As part of the visit, Ambassador Zhou Qian and members of the Chinese Embassy also toured notable landmarks in the region, including the Chiatura Regional Museum, the Katskhi Pillar, and other cultural and historical sites in the city.
