Civil activist Denis Kulanin has left Georgia.
According to his lawyers, Kulanin did not want to leave the country but agreed to travel to a third country following a court ruling.
Earlier on Friday, it was announced that Kulanin would not be deported to Russia. The court gave him seven days to leave Georgia and also imposed a five-year ban on re-entering the country.
Kulanin was arrested during anti-government protests and sentenced to two years in prison.
He was released from prison on the Feast of the Dormition as part of a presidential pardon that included several other individuals.
