The Kremlin has plans to create a new Russian-language children's organization similar to that one in the Soviet Union, on May 19, 2022, on the 100th anniversary of the V. Lenin Pioneers Organization, Moskovsky Komsomolets has cited a source as saying. 

The media outlet says that the movement is created to "raise patriotism in children and adolescents, to instill in them a love of homeland and citizenship."

The new structure will be created on the basis of the existing Russian school student movement and regional organizations.
