Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, on Wednesday claimed his  country's  integration in NATO were among Georgia's foreign policy "priorities,” which he said was also “reinforced” by the domestic constitution, in Brussels meeting.

Darchiashvili stressed Irakli Kobakhidze’s, the newly appointed Prime Minister of Georgia, visit to NATO’s headquarters would bring “new impulse” to strengthening NATO-Georgia relations and further explained the ties had been “result-oriented” for years. He underlined Kobakhidze’s visit to NATO was “symbolic” and "significant," where he met Jens Stoltenberg, NATO General Secretary. The officials discussed further strengthening the Alliance’s "long-standing" partnership with Georgia, government office stated. 

Kobakhidze went on his first foreign visit to Brussels on Monday, where he held bilateral meetings with EU and NATO officials.
