Georgia’s Interior Minister Geka Geladze met with Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), who is visiting Georgia with a delegation on an official visit.

The meeting focused on the measures the Interior Ministry has implemented to maintain public order and ensure security across the country, the MIA press office said on Tuesday.

Geladze briefed the delegation on the ministry’s priority activities and ongoing reforms.

The officials also discussed collaboration between the ministry and the OSCE. Geladze stressed that maintaining strong relations with OSCE institutions was a priority for Georgia and expressed readiness to deepen future cooperation.
