Georgia’s new security chief holds meeting with intelligence agency leadership

The new head of Georgia’s State Security Service of Georgia, Geka Geladze, has held a working meeting with senior officials of the country’s Intelligence Agency alongside deputy chief Aleksandre Maisuradze.
Discussions focused on priority areas and ways to improve the effectiveness of the intelligence service’s work.
Geladze pledged support for the further development of key operational areas and tools used to respond to security risks.
He also thanked agency employees for their service and wished them success in implementing strategic objectives.
During the visit, the security chief was briefed on the agency’s infrastructure and material and technical resources.
