Georgia's State Security Service chief Geka Geladze has hosted Armenia's Foreign Intelligence Service chief Kristine Grigoryan for talks on strengthening cooperation between the two countries' intelligence and security agencies.

The meeting took place during Grigoryan's official visit to Georgia, the State Security Service said.

The two officials discussed Georgia-Armenia relations and prospects for further deepening cooperation, with a focus on closer coordination between their intelligence and security structures in addressing international security challenges.

Grigoryan thanked Geladze for the reception and expressed Armenia's readiness to expand cooperation in priority areas, according to the statement.

During her visit, Grigoryan also visited Georgia's Intelligence Agency with her delegation and held a working meeting with senior officials.
