Georgia's State Security Service of Georgia has provided new tactical and special-purpose vehicles to its Special Operations Department.
GSSS chair Geka Geladze, handed over multifunctional, special-purpose and rapid-response tactical vehicles to the department.
Geladze said the new vehicles, which meet modern standards, would strengthen the department's operations and capabilities.
He added that the Special Operations Department would receive several dozen additional armoured vehicles, off-road vehicles and operational-tactical vehicles by the end of the year.
The State Security Service said it would continue gradually improving the human resources, infrastructure, equipment and technological capabilities of its various units.
