Political analyst Khukhashvili slams ruling authorities as ‘hypocritical’

Political analyst Gia Khukhashvili has criticized Georgia’s current ruling power, describing their actions as “cunning, resourceful, and hypocritical.”

“We are dealing with the ruling authorities – who they are and what they want is completely unclear. They speak of patriotism and protecting traditions, yet they have no understanding of what true Georgian tradition is,” Khukhashvili said.

He added that, despite their claims of religiosity and national loyalty, their actions show a disconnect from both Georgian society and the expectations of the international community. 

“The civilized world sees that we are fully aligned with Russia in certain areas, and any interest these authorities may have is directly coordinated through the Kremlin,” Khukhashvili noted.
