Georgia's Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze, together with Youth Agency Director Aleksandre Kajaia, met with a youth delegation from the People's Republic of China, the ministry's press service said.

The sides discussed the importance of deepening cooperation between Georgia and China in youth affairs, sharing experience and strengthening ties between young people from the two countries.

The meeting was held in a question-and-answer format, with the visiting young people receiving detailed information on issues of interest to them.

With the support of the ministry, the Chinese youth delegation is visiting Georgia from 9 to 15 August and is being hosted by the Youth Agency.

As part of the visit, the delegation is scheduled to tour Georgia's historical and cultural landmarks, museums and educational institutions. The programme also includes activities and workshops introducing the guests to Georgian traditions.
