A second man injured in a shooting at a shopping centre in Gori, central Georgia, has died in hospital, local authorities confirmed on Monday.

The victim, a man under the age of 50, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and underwent emergency surgery at the Gormedi Clinic.

Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.

The incident occurred earlier today, when a man identified as S.A., born in 1975, opened fire following a dispute over goods for sale. His father and son were both shot during the altercation.

The younger victim died at the scene, while the older man was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Police have arrested the suspect, and an investigation is underway.
