Kobakhidze: Leuville Estate Symbolises Historic Ties Between Georgia and France

The Georgian estate in Leuville is also a symbol of the close historical ties between Georgia and France, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at an event marking the completion of the estate’s restoration.

“I believe this major project, implemented through the fruitful partnership between our two countries, will become a new platform for dialogue and cooperation,” Kobakhidze said.

The Prime Minister expressed special gratitude to the French people and Georgia’s French partners, whose support, he said, made it possible to restore an important part of the country’s historical heritage.

“We are especially grateful to the French people and our valued partners, whose invaluable support made the restoration of our historical heritage possible,” he said.

Kobakhidze noted that the Leuville Georgian Estate is now fully operational as an open educational and creative centre for Georgians, members of the diaspora and anyone interested in learning more about Georgia’s history and culture.

“This is a very special and deeply emotional day for all of us, and I would once again like to congratulate everyone on this remarkable occasion,” the Prime Minister said.
