Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday attended the opening ceremony of Ferrari Tbilisi’s first official showroom, alongside Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Minister of Economy Mariam Kvrivishvili.
Kobakhidze highlighted the significance of the arrival of a flagship brand of the global automotive industry in Georgia, noting that it serves as further confirmation of the country’s stable and attractive business environment.
“Had someone said 15–20 years ago that a Ferrari centre would open in Georgia, no one would have believed it. Today, however, this is a reality. I would like to congratulate everyone on this occasion. It is a sign that the country and its economy are developing.
“We are proud that Georgia offers a favourable environment for investment and economic activity and today’s event - the arrival of Ferrari in Georgia - is a clear expression of that,” the Prime Minister said.
He described Ferrari as the flagship and true leader of the automotive industry, as well as a symbol of Italian quality, adding that Georgia is proud to welcome the iconic brand to the country.
