Dato Kodua, the Georgian Dream candidate for Zugdidi mayor, has concluded his election campaign, addressing voters and highlighting the key priorities for his potential administration.

Speaking to the public on Friday, Kodua said that over the last month and a half, he held approximately 140 meetings with residents, engaging with around 20,000 citizens. He emphasized that responding to the needs identified during these meetings will be the central focus of his work.

“Our main goal is continuous collaboration with citizens to address challenges and needs together. We will further develop Zugdidi through infrastructure improvements, support for education, creation of green spaces, promotion of sports and culture, strengthening social and healthcare programs, improving housing for displaced persons, and building homes for those living in difficult conditions,” Kodua said.

He also stressed the strategic importance of the ongoing Anaklia port project, which he said will bring new economic opportunities, jobs, and development to the municipality.

Highlighting Zugdidi’s historical role as a bridge to occupied Abkhazia, Kodua promised a transparent, conscientious, and responsive administration focused on the city and its residents. He called for voter support, pledging to honor their trust with concrete actions.

“Peace to Georgia and further development for Zugdidi!” Kodua concluded.
